I hired A Glam Good Time to help me coordinate and add “a special touch” to my destination beach wedding in VA Beach. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Not only did Leigh provide invaluable tips and tricks leading up to my big day, but her detail oriented approach to managing every aspect of the day allowed me to sit back, relax, and truly ENJOY everything that was happening. And as we all know, there are always a couple things that start going off the rails when you have an event with so many moving parts. At each turn, she was right there and already jumping in to manage these snags. My friends were equally amazed at how calm I was, as I am used to jumping in and being very hands-on during events. For once, I was able to simply rest and enjoy because Leigh had EVERYTHING under control. She provided an amazing experience and I would highly recommend her for a variety of party and event services- especially those where as the host, you’d like to enjoy the event as well.

I attended a fun Sex in the City themed weekend long party for myself and some of my sorority sisters. The weekend coincided with the release of Sex & the City 2, hence the theme, “Zetas in the City”. Our weekend was packed with one exciting adventure after another. Our mornings started off with a delicious breakfast and mimosas, we were whisked away to a surprise hotel stay in D.C., lunch on the waterfront where a Zeta Phi Beta themed cake and gifts were waiting for us, tickets to see the movie, blue martinis to honor our sorority colors, dinner at Eatonville restaurant, which was inspired by Zora Neale Hurston, our sorority sister (definitely a special touch!) and Leigh also arranged our travel plans to stay in New York City to close out the magnificent weekend! Leigh’s attention to detail was amazing and truly blew me away! Never have I met a planner that delivers such personalized and quality service! She listened to our needs and created a truly phenomenal and memorable girls weekend! I was very impressed and highly recommend A Glam Good Time if you are looking for someone that will execute your vision to perfection!

I’ve had the honor of attending a Glitz & Glam themed girls’ night party styled by Leigh and it was absolutely amazing! I would definitely hire A Glam Good Time as my party planner for my next girls’ night in party! Can you say, “Personalization At Its Best”? The details were phenomenal from the gifts and favors to the intricate ‘one of a kind’ details and photos of each guest on the wine glasses. The food not only looked magnificent as if it came out of the “Food & Wine” magazine, it also tasted delicious. It takes a true gift to be able to pull off such class and creativity. As an event planner, I know what it takes to pull off a fantastic celebration. As a control freak, I also know how hard it was to realize that I needed to hire someone to handle my daughter‘s 13th birthday party.
I knew exactly what I wanted for her party but I also knew that I needed someone who had the capacity to pull it off in my place. After seeing Leigh’s work via Facebook, I reached out to her and asked if she would be able to create a “Black Panther” movie themed party for my daughter. She and I met to go over my vision and to my delight, she was full of ideas! I completely trusted her during the process and gave minimal input as she aasured me that she would create the event that I dreamed of. I provided Leigh with all that she requested (pictures of my daughter, updated guest count, etc.) and she did all of the work on her end. All I had to do was whip together a few themed desserts – which were cleverly named by Leigh – and we were set for the party.
On the day of the party, my family, guests & I were blown away by the set-up! The overall view of the decor was amazing, but discovering the little details…that’s what really got me! The personalization was on point and would NOT have been found at a typical party store! Leigh even surprised me with a few touches that we didn’t even discuss: we LOVED it!
Hiring “A Glam Good Time” to style my daughter‘s 13th birthday party was clearly the best decision! Being able to enjoy the event with a stress free state of mind was worth the money! Thank you Leigh!
